We’re still a few weeks away from the Stanley Cup being awarded, however, the NHL is about to award some trophies starting this week.
Wednesday marks the start of awards season in the NHL as the league will announce its title winners for the 2021-22 season.
Seven winners will be announced, one per day, starting June 1 when the conference finals are underway, leading to a one-hour grand jackpot that will take place on June 21 with Five grand prize winners announced.
The finalists of most of the awards have been announced. While some awards like the Vezina Trophy seem to be pretty clear about who will be awarded the hardware, there are others like the Hart Trophy that will become a hot topic ahead of launch.

When will the 2022 NHL Awards winners be announced?
This week, the federation will begin announcing one award per day of the grand finale, which begins June 1 and runs through June 7.
On June 21, the NHL will have a special one-hour awards ceremony where it will announce the winners of the five major titles.
The Jim Gregory Superintendent of the Year Award closes voting after the conclusion of the second round. The finalists will be announced on June 21, and winners will be selected at the NHL Draft in July.
